Downloadable recorded examples of my playing

These were recorded in a studio, but much quality is regrettably lost in compressing them for the Internet. You need Real Player to hear these, which you can download free here.

All of these were recorded live, using the accordion and a MIDI accompaniment module, without any studio multitracking or extra musicians. In other words, this is what I sound like on solo bookings, too, when plugged in to my gear.

L'accordéoniste (203Kb) An Edith Piaf song with a nice French flavour
Arrivederci Roma Italian (437Kb) The mandolin sound is played live from the accordion's keys.
Sunny Afternoon (308Kb) The bass tuba is played live from the accordion bass buttons, and the solo tuba is played live from the accordion treble keyboard. The basis of my music making is traditional accordion playing, but doing tricks with the MIDI accordion is great fun for a bit of variety.
Strawberry Fields (560Kb) It may not be traditional accordion music, but you won't ever get more interesting pop music than the Beatles in their maturity!
