About me
I took up accordion in my early twenties, after playing guitar and bassoon for the previous decade, and have been ‘gigging’ ever since.
I have been booked to play in a great variety of places: restaurants, markets, fairs, vintage car rallies, an Irish ferry, a narrowboat, a Thames cruiseship, stately homes, Center Parcs, barns, public parks, city centre events, car launches, Castle Howard, hotels, care homes, conference centres.
As the slogan above says, I can travel, but with the price of fuel, fears for the planet, and the sheer tedium of motoring these days, I prefer to take engagements within a 130 mile radius of York. For local ‘green’ events, I can arrive by bicycle, towing my portable accordion kit.
